All images available on Myanmar Pressphoto Agency (MPA) are governed by the following licensing terms. By purchasing an image, you agree to these conditions.
1. Editorial Use Only Most images on this platform are documented in conflict zones or public events and are intended for Editorial Use Only.
- Permitted Uses: Newspapers, magazines, editorial websites, blogs, newsletters, documentaries, non-fiction books, and educational materials.
- Prohibited Uses: Commercial advertising, promotional materials, product packaging, and endorsements.
- Note: Since our images capture real-time events, they generally do not carry Model Releases.
2. License Types
- Standard Editorial License (Single Use): Allows the buyer to use the image for one specific article, post, or publication.
- Extended Editorial License (Multi-Seat): Required for large media organizations needing to share the image across multiple regional sub-outlets or for reuse in multiple editions.
3. Attribution / Credit Line All published images must include a visible credit line in the following format:
Photo: [Photographer Name] / MPA (or simply “Myanmar Pressphoto Agency” if space is limited).
4. Ethical Standards Images must not be digitally altered in a way that changes the context or truth of the event (standard cropping and color correction are allowed). Images must not be used in a defamatory, pornographic, or unlawful manner.

Subscription Cancellation & Refund Policy
At Myanmar Pressphoto Agency (MPA), we strive to provide flexibility for our media partners. Please review our cancellation terms below.
1. Cancellation Policy
- Cancel Anytime: You may cancel your monthly or annual subscription at any time via your “My Account” dashboard.
- Effect of Cancellation: Cancellation will be effective at the end of your current billing cycle. You will retain full access to your download quota until the cycle ends.
- No Partial Refunds: We do not offer refunds or credits for partial months or unused download quotas once a billing period has started.
2. Automatic Renewal
- All subscriptions are set to automatically renew to ensure uninterrupted access to breaking news coverage. You must cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid being charged for the next cycle.
3. Downloaded Content & Rights
- License Continuity: Any images downloaded prior to cancellation may continue to be used in accordance with the license terms (Editorial Use) purchased. Cancellation of your subscription does not revoke the rights to images you have already downloaded.
- Loss of Access: Once your subscription expires, you will lose access to the download archive and any unused rollover credits will be forfeited.
4. Exceptional Refunds Refunds are only considered in the event of a technical error (e.g., duplicate billing). If you believe you were charged in error, please contact [Your Support Email] within 7 days of the transaction.
